A workshop proposing solutions to improve the investment environment for SME's with the Food and Drug Authority
Asjarqia Chamber, in cooperation with the Food and Drug Authority, organized a workshop entitled "Improving the investment environment for SME's with the authority", where they discussed a number of challenges and difficulties facing the sector, in the presence of a number of officials at the main headquarters.
The workshop reviewed a range of challenges. Where the attending suggested ideas from the most important of them: unifying a list used by all the inspectors and obtaining views and information from factories and laboratories in the Kingdom to benefit from them, the emergence of policies and specifications for the investor by linking government records and licenses, as well as guidance and alert before the violation, and evaluation from the inspectors, in addition to standardizing a list The inspection items are used by all inspectors.
With regard to registration and licenses, the participants suggested granting permission to clear at the authority’s branches, continuous cooperation and coordination between the Food and Drug Authority and the secretariats, authorizing the establishment of small warehouses inside the cities, and overseeing all who practice selling, whether the owner of an establishment or others who practice selling.
